Wybrow Innovations

PROFILES

WYBROW INNOVATIONS was established in 1990 by Dr Brian Wybrow, a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Scientist with the Science Council, who has considerable experience in research and development in industry.

Dr Brian Wybrow is a qualified scientist/engineer, patent consultant, and professional inventor/innovator, and is usually the first contact with the inventor, providing the preliminary commercial appraisal, preparing patent applications, carrying out product development, prototyping, and liaison with industry. Brian has worked for many years in a research and development environment in industry as a senior scientist/engineer and can apply his mind to any situation presented to him. He has worked on a large number of inventions for inventors, some of which have led to granted patents. He also has a number of inventions in his name; some with granted patents.

Dr Wybrow received his training on intellectual property, from Pat Russell-Rayner, a very experienced and accomplished European Patent Attorney, who acted as a consultant to the business for twenty years, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of intellectual property.  Pat was a former Chairman of the International Federation of Inventors Associations, and a former Honorary Secretary of the Institute of Patentees and Inventors.  Sadly, Pat died in March 2011, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Others
Experts in CAD, graphic design, engineering, tool-making, electronics, electrical engineering, plastics, and a whole range of other disciplines, are utilised by the business, and a network of expertise continues to develop; some from contact with the inventors for whom Dr Wybrow has worked.
